Entourage-sur-le-lac Resort, Lac Beauport Quebec

In just 2 weeks, Entourage-sur-le-lac resort located in the beautiful region of Lac Beauport, Quebec (20 minutes north of Quebec City) has quickly become a guests favourite and I sure agree with the results of this resort.  Having arrived early, being greeted warmly by the front staff, my accommodation wasn’t ready; within 30 minutes I received a telephone call advising me that my room was ready… How cool is that?  No time wasted, I found it very helpful, as I was able to tour the grounds and enjoy the great weather. 5 star rating for the whole concept.
Top photo from my evening walk around the lake, bottom photo is from my morning walk

I'll rewind back to when I entered the complex, the wow factor as seen in the photograph of the lobby, the sitting area that is situated just behind the lobby, contains a beautiful library, pool table and full walls of windows. While sitting, enjoying a glass of wine, unwinding by reading a book or just enjoying the view it was the perfect setting.  The open concept from the main floor looking into the restaurant located on the lower floor, all the extra large windows keep you looking at the lake.

The accommodations are filled with home comfort, the Kingsize bed is where I wanted to spend most of my downtime, unfortunately not enough time in a day as work came first, but being able to enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of my bed and even when I showered in the morning, as those large windows gave me a view that was breathtaking.  The rooms are so spacious, filled with all of the necessary accessories that you need to help you enjoy extra days here.  There are lots of closet space, lots of storage space, mini fridge, dishes, and a large TV when you just want to cuddle in bed and relax. The full service restaurant can prepare for your enjoyment a superb dinner that you can enjoy in your room at your table for 2 while enjoying the view.
My room for 2 days, so comfortable I didn't want to leave

What to do while staying at the resort?  Can I suggest several activities, starting with late summer/fall, the pool is open 3 of the 4 seasons and soon to be open all year, there’s horseback riding at Les Excursion Jacques Cartier $$ by reservation, for boating kindly contact the hotel for more information, lots of walking paths around the lake, trout fishing $$ by reservation and these are just a few examples, ask your reservation clerk for more great suggestions.  You like winter activities?  This is where it becomes interesting…. Skating around the lake would be my favourite activity, an area specifically to play hockey on the lake, then you have a Le Relais ski hill $$ just a few minutes away and also there are 3 bigger ski resorts in the nearby areas to enjoy the fresh outdoor air.

L’Ilot restaurant is onsite to help you spend a fabulous time without worrying what to prepare for your 3 meals per day.  This space is well decorated, a very large lighting fixture hangs over a good part of the restaurant, where again you have the view of the lake, I can almost imagine sitting at a table, ordering a gourmet meal while enjoying a glass wine from their large selection during a light snowfall evening, it will be so pretty.  My suggestion is to book soon and try it for yourself cause it’s a great escape space.
The restaurant with all of the large glass windows with a view of the lake
Love the bar area, well lit, decorated with 2 fireplace sitting at the top of the bar
Lobby area just outside the restaurant also serving the banquet/meeting rooms
The open concept restaurant was a great way to see the functionality of the kitchen
A view from the second floor, the design is so sleek and elegant
See you soon, I'll be back in 2 months from now to explore more of the fall activities.
